Weddings at The Old Priory
We would be delighted to host your wedding reception at The Old Priory.
Fronted by beautiful gardens, the graceful turn of the century elegance of The Old Priory’s archway fringed verandah and lacework balcony remains unchanged. Within the building, renovations have included the conversion of the old concert hall, into a charming reception room, which comfortably seats 100 guests.
A large stage area is available, as is a dance floor and a cosy open fire in winter. The gardens are available for ceremonies and photographs and the balconies for sherries and savouries. Many fabulous backdrops for photographs are to be found on the property and in close proximity to it.
The Old Priory's kitchen is proud of a creative and extensive menu, featuring generous portions and prices starting at $35.00 person. There are no room hire charges and the colours of your choice are included in table decorations, which include candlabra’s, candles, ivy and ribbons and serviettes.
The room is fully licensed and drinks are served at normal hotel prices. Additional drinks to those provided, may be purchased over the bar throughout the evening.
We pride ourselves on offering a very friendly, personalised service, with as much assistance in planning your special day as you require. We are more than happy to cater to your individual requirements, to ensure that perfect wedding.
For visiting guests, The Old Priory offers guest house style accommodation at very reasonable rates. Guest lounges and a courtyard, provide ample opportunity for guests to relax together after the reception or the next day, instead of going their separate ways once the bride and groom have departed.
Areas for children and child minding services are readily available in close proximity to the reception room.
